So I don't have the pictures loaded onto my computer yet, so those will have to come a little later. We had such a fun couple of days in Georgia. We had some interesting endeavors running to different gates, only to find out we had missed connecting flights, etc. etc., but we had a blast and some laughs. Derek was such a trooper he was so well behaved and really enjoyed the plane rides, probably because he slept most of the time. Derek loved take off and taxing down the runway where he could see all sorts of planes and liked it a lot when we "were fast." Derek wouldn't where his seat belt in his own seat so during every landing or takeoff he would just climb up on my lap. (I think he was a little scared) We would look out the windows and he would point out all the different planes, just in case you were wondering there are a lot of planes at the airport. Then during takeoff he would snuggle close with me and tell me how fast we were going. I just love that little boy and how much fun we have with him. Derek had so much fun with his cousins and especially loved playing in Aunt Nancy's pool. It was so fun to watch him run around with all the cousins and make new friends. It was so good to see Grandma and Grandaddy again, I'm always so sad that we can't afford to come more often, but I guess it does make these visits all that more special. Thank you Carol and Joe for the gift of the plane tickets, unfortunately we aren't at a place in our life right now that we can just afford all these things, so we we really appreciate it. Don't worry Corey especially came home with a thicker southern accent and nobody could understand him when he got back to work on Wednesday. Oh Well.
Can't wait to see ya'll next year!

a year between visits is just too long.. *sigh*
Maybe you should alternate between Christmas and reunion, though i imagine flights are easier this time of year.
