As some of you may or may not know, Corey was laid off again, at the beginning of the year. I won't lie, I'm racking my brain as to what lesson we are suppose to be learning from this trial that we aren't because it just keeps coming back over and over again. One of the blessings though that does come from this time is the amount of time that Derek and Corey get to spend together. These two are just the best of buddies, and every time Corey gets laid off, their relationship and friendship just gets stronger. Recently we went sledding with several of the families from church and we had a blast. Derek especially did well kind of, he doesn't like going down the hill, but when he gets to the bottom his screaming turns to giggling. Strange kid we know, but we love him!
