On Sunday night we had Derek's Birthday Party we had so much fun. We had cupcakes and Derek loved it. He just dove right in as apparent by these pictures.
Derek has all of the sudden decided that he was going to be my big eater. We have always struggled with getting him to eat a good portion of food or even eating period. He tried meat from spaghetti, grapes, strawberries, and broccoli and loved it. and kept eating quite a bit. Derek's cute shirt says Happy 1st Birthday to ME! My old roommate Jenn sent this and a cute Book. Thanks Jenn! Derek got lots of fun toys and gifts and had lots of fun.

Derek's favorite food is Cheerios but here is what he looks like when he gets one stuck to his nose and doesn't even know it.
Derek loves to through the Cheerios on the floor and leave them there for afterwards. He will crawl and climb through anything to get them even if it means that he is going to get stuck. Yes that is my son High Centered. Needless to say this weekend was a lot of fun. It was good to have Carol and Joe here, we got my Mom and Dad pretty much moved into their new place and Derek had lots of fun. Thank you everyone for all your thoughts and prayers we truly have felt the support of so many loved ones and you will never know how much that means to us during these difficult times in our lives. How lucky we are to have such awesome friends and families.

Hope he keeps feeling ok! It is so frustrating to not know what is causing your child to be sick! I have my house pretty well cleaned out of our stuff. I learned my lesson when G-Mom and G-Dad moved from Brookfield.
