For the 4th of July we tried some new things. We went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Then got to the pool right as it opened and swam for about 2 hours. We came home napped (that is definitely a treat since everybody napped) then dinner and off to Nephi for fireworks.
Jake loved the water and he was fun. Derek spotted one of his friends and he played hard. For me it was the first that I had been in the pool in a long time, but we all had fun.
This was our first time going to Nephi. It was great the crowds were way less than in Provo for the Stadium of Fire, and it was closer to the house. The fireworks were nice and big and there was lots of shade to sit in. Definitely what we are doing next year! Jake loved the fireworks and would point and ooh at them all night long
Jake is always happy as long as he has food!
