Our Trip to see the Great Grands

So back in October we decided to do a surprise trip to Georgia to Visit Corey's Grandparents.  Carol was already heading out to visit and we knew that most of the family was already going to be in town.  So we decided why tell everyone why not surprise them!  So we did.  I wish we would have taken pictures when we walked into the door at Grand-Daddy's house the reactions on people's faces were priceless.  We literally kept it a secret from just about everyone.  Only three people in then state of Georgia even knew we were coming it was so awesome.  These three friends kept our secret and helped us out so much with places to stay and family pictures.  We couldn't even begin to tell them thank you enough!  Plus we had one other to surprise everyone with, our little baby that was on the way.  I was at the time 10 weeks pregnant and even though I was so sick for a good majority of the trip it was still worth it!  Plus as it was put to us this was the first time anyone had seen Grandma Carol Speechless she literally was so shocked to see us she couldn't even talk!  That was something I had definitely never seen before.

He insisted on carrying his own "little suitcase"

His favorite form of enteratinment playing games on our old phone that he has n ow tried to claim ownership too.

He was so fascinated with the amount of planes and since then he is having everything including cars and trucks fly.

Their first meeting and they were instant friends

Loved, Loved seeing these two together.  This is probably the first time the Derek remembers visiting with Grand-Daddy!

Four Genereations.

Meeting Grandmother, we were so lucky that Derek didn't have any reservations that she couldn't remember him and kept calling him by the wrong name.  He didn't care and just kept loving on her anyways.

Georgia Snow

Carla Wiley was so nice to let us stay and Derek and Elizabeth became fast friends.

Saying Goodbye
Unfortunately we didn't even come close to taking enough pictures on this trip but we were only their for a couple of days.  We didn't have any form of a schedule and really just spent time with family and just had fun.  This was by far our best trip to Georgia we had ever had.
