The last day of our Adventure to Georgia was spent in Jacksonville, FL. We were flying out of the Jacksonville Airport and my dad hooked us up with a hotel room for Corey's Birthday right next to the beach. Unfortunately it was cold but we still had to go as this would be Derek's first chance to see the Atlantic Ocean actually any ocean. He loved the beach and had so much friends with our friends. The Meacham's have recently moved to Florida for a medical residency and since we were going to be in town they decided that they better come up. We had so much fun seeing them especially as Kari is one of my dearest friends. The pictures are dark because it was so sunny, the first sunny day of our trip. Hurricane Sandy has just passed by a couple of days earlier and the weather our entire trip was cold and rainy. We were really sad that it was warmer back home in Utah than it was in Georgia and Florida.
