Several weeks ago Corey went to the Mother's group. My ward often puts together little outings like to a park for example, and this lets the women get together and the children play especially in the summer when the kids needs to get out. Well, Corey being the stay at home Dad in our family took Derek because they were going to Davis Ranch. Davis Ranch is the property of one of the ladies in our ward, and she has everything a kid could dream of. Swing sets, play houses, ponds with canoes and paddle boats, and their is a little bit of a beach on the pond as well. The Mother's actually love it when Corey shows up because he helps take the kids in the Canoe's. Below is Derek with one of his best buddies Marcus. I love and appreciate that Corey wasn't just one of those guys that sat around doing nothing during his layoff, instead he went out and created lots of fun memories with his little boy.
