Back in August we had Salem Days! Corey had taken Derek earlier in the day in firetrucks. This night they had a huge fireworks display. Of course, Corey had to play fireman, so I had Derek and Annistyn by myself. Annistyn's Mom just a few days earlier had a new baby, so we went and kidnapped Annistyn so she could play out of the house. The kids had so much fun, and really enjoyed the fireworks, here are a few pictures from while we were watching the talent show and waiting for the fireworks to start.
The kids were so good and we had such a great time. Derek loved the fireworks, we had taken him last year but he slept through the whole thing, this was the first time he really saw fireworks. He just laid on the blanket looked up and kept saying "Wow, look Mom!"
